  1. We have to to give up with ours and return it. No-one can figure out why it rings every 20 mins or so.
    Of coure the return policy is “we will ship you a new one, once you return yours first”. Which is like rubbing salt in the wounds.
    Why can’t MS ship me a new one, and I will return the dud one in the same box??
    It’s not like I am going to run off with it!
    PS. I really wish you could tilt the camera down when not in use. It really obstructs eyeball interaction with other people in the room!

    Sorry to see that your issue has not been resolved.
    I would recommend involving your Microsoft partner for UC who must be able to sort this out. I am sure they’ve got a spare device with which you can rule ut whether or not it’s a device related issue. That saves you a lot of logistical hessle
    As for tilting the camera when not in use, why not pick it up and place it somewhere else ? We often drag it from one room to another …

    I don’t know how yours is cabled in, but there is no way to move this once installed. The cable is hardwired at one end and fitted with a very large connector at the other end. I had to dismantle out table just to get the cable through the centre of the table! Another reason why sending it back is such a pain. I will have to break the table down, put it back together again, and the repeat when I finally get the replacement – arghhhhh

  4. Refering to the image, there are a couple of logical issues there, at least with my experience.
    1. Is a setup with 2 x roundtable in one room supported like this?
    Will I get a 720 degree panorama?
    2. Where is the laptop, they are dialling on a telephone?!? Is that possible?

    1. If you want to make use of the panaramic video you’d need a PC and a connection to LiveMeeting. The panoramic views is dasplayed in LiveMeeting.
    Therotically you can ahve multiple videofeeds in LiveMeeting (the webcams of other remote people) so maybe it is possible to have a second person with a ROuntabe device. I never tried this and from a functional perspective this would create a visual “chaos” so you’d have an unproductive meeting.
    2. You can use the ROundtable as a phone, but you need a PC to hook you up to the LiveMeeting and make panaramic video work.

  6. This is actually incorrrect…
    We currently have over 14 RoundTables in our environment.. The main video is all active speaker.. When you have more than one Roundtable it simply changes the view to the panarama of the room that is talking..
