Dutch Mobile Forecast: 2005 To 2010

Netherlands is an early adoptor of mobile technology, together with the noric countries in Europe. Looking at these figures it seems however that the uptake of UMTS will be not so fast …

3G is already facing an uphill battle in the Netherlands due to operators’ late launches and low consumer interest. Forrester expects that, by the end of the decade, only 59% of all Dutch mobile consumers will use 3G and 46% will regularly use mobile Internet services — fewer than in the rest of Western Europe.
