Reading the article you almost get the impression Nokia has invented webservices. Both IBM and Microsoft are leading in this ballgame. I am not sure what Mr Skytta means by “mobile specific protocols”, but Microsoft’s Windows Mobile platform is hardly a siloed approach, besides webservices .NET and the .NET Compact Framework allow for good integration with the rest of a company’s IT architecture. I am quite sure Microsoft will give wenservices in the mobile area a big push as well …
